NEW: Jay-Z - Venus vs. Mars [Prod. Timbaland / The Blueprint 3]
So ANOTHER leak from Blueprint 3... What is that? 3 in a week? That sucks for Jay.
As a life long Hova fan I have been disappointed with what I have heard so far from the new album. I mean, Blueprint was one of the best Hip Hop albums ever, Blueprint 2 was a smash and I was hoping Blueprint 3 would see the return of the mighty Jay-Z.
Rap: Hard to capture, no goosebumps, not as epic as it needed to be.
Beat: This is pretty dope from Timbaland. Not used to such laid back beats from him... especially this decade. Nice change in style.
Overall: I don't like this track all too much (I feel it might grow on me). He sounds like he's copying KiD CuDi's rhythm and laid-back flow and Asher Roth's vocal style (at some points).

Ive gotta vote this one as my favorite so far, mainly because the beat is the best. Timb did his thing on this.
Just starting to think The Game's criticism of Jay was right..perhaps he should have retired...

oh that was lame to me
i actually really like this joint. but maybe just cuz it's the same voice inflection & flow that jigga used on his "blue magic" single, and that was my song for forever.
bar for bar, i think he actually spits some crazy lines. i mean, anybody can recognize all the reference points he makes, but you almost gotta read these lyrics to let em hit you the whole way.
